A jam-packed day started with a boat ride along the canals before a visit to the Tulip Museum and Cheese Museum. Lunch called us back to Cafe Winkle where I had an incredible salad with sour-dough bread. I'm going to be dreaming of that for a while. We then walked to two different photography galleries (one in an amazing building, one with an amazing show) before heading back to the hotel for a speedy pit-stop. For dinner we got the tram to an incredible Moroccan restaurant in a converted church, then hopped back on the tram to the Olympic Stadium for some quality Leonard Cohen time. He lived up to all expectations and was completely incredible! He played from 8.15pm - 11.45pm with a very brief 20minute break. His voice has got even deeper and more gravely with age, not that you would ever guess his 77 years- he was skipping around the stage, and singing down on his knees. It was definitely worth the trip, and really amazing to be in the Olympic stadium. Unfortunately our seats in the stand meant we didn't get to have a run on the track.
