Walking the Line

Managed a quick walk along the railway line after work and yet again I'm drawn to gates and fields ripen for harvesting.

You can't fail to notice that more of our country landscapes are becoming dotted by wind turbines.

I'm not convinced by the strategy behind this heavily subsidised form of energy and whether small scale land-based windmills are really sustainable, but...

They provide interesting structures to contrast nature's forms and can be pretty awesome close-up, but that's maybe the geeky scientist in me coming out!
