Keeping Watch!

This exquisite little fire tail was keeping watch for it's mate who was about to dive into the bird bath.  They didn't quite make it as a statistic in our water bowl study due to the fact that they arrived at the bird baths about 5 minutes after our 20 minute session of monitoring had ended.  I thought if I publish this image on blip it would be some compensation for them :-)
