A Whale of a Time

...'scuse silly title...but so appropriate.

Today I went Whale watching again....this time with my friend S...It was a BLAST.......those Whales were in terrific form .........we were surrounded by them jumping out of the water ......splashing around showing off...waving to us....rolling over....blowing water...going under the boat and then surprising and sprinkling us with their spray.

I was off my chops on seasick pills...ha! didn't feel sick at all today infact riding the waves (very big) up the front of the boat urging them on...what fun.

There were so many Kodak moments....I missed most of them.......the sun was behind and reflecting in the screen of the camera...so had to do a lot of guessing....which I didn't do a very good job with........I WILL NEVER GET ANOTHER CAMERA WITHOUT VIEWFINDER.

Never mind though I got about half a dozen pretty good shots (not THE ONE though)...I did really like this...it shows his/her size and the barnacles and texture of skin.........actually the shots were a bit of a bonus........they put on a spectacular show and for this I feel honored.........there is an energy that emanates from these big beautiful beings..and it brings tears to my eyes and takes my breath away.

I'm gonna do it again........I'm hooked..........(ah!......another pun).
