Scout Scar

I had an eye test in Kendal this afternoon so to make the journey worthwhile I added on a walk in the morning. Parked up on the Underbarrow Road and went for a stroll firstly to Cunswick Fell and back and then along Scout Scar from the north end to the trig point and back. After several days of adding extra layers it was a bit of a novelty being out without hat, scarf and gloves. It was a beautiful sunny spring-like morning though quite hazy in the distance. I was glad I chose to walk before the eye test rather than after as it clouded over and became quite dull in the afternoon. Picture was taken near the trig point on Scout Scar - the rather undulating nature of the dry stone wall just appealed to me.
