What the...?????

Z's 'room' in a (very - ie Sunday) recently refurbished flatshare. The room wasn't even a thing last week. The weasly chap who'd shown her around promised a completely different room (ie one which actually existed) but when she turned up yesterday she found the kitchen/diner had been partitioned and she was to be the less than chuffed occupant of the resulting space. The work had been carried out with such attention to detail that when the kitchen light was switched on the trio of spotlights above her bed also blazed out 150W of brightness: annoying at the best of times but somewhat startling when you discover it at 3am. And why bother installing a second radiator when you can just divvy up the one that's already there?? Not good. Really, really not good.
