Not A Bad Day

SWMBO was still feeling the effects of her medication  and was expecting a parcel that required a signature, so I was on my own with the monsters and PD this morning.
Since the monsters were off school they came with me to walk PD.
Squirrel took her scooter but it didn't really help her win the inevitable races.
No idea what was going on here, but they weren't looking for Fairy houses, they know where they all are and went knocking on the door of one of them. Squirrel was sure somebody was in because she found some fairy dust on the window sill.

The weather has been really nice with wall to wall blue sky -- so much so it was enough to make you dizzy.

I have never noticed the big ears on this tree before.

We got an unexpected visit this evening from somebody about the new windows which we had decided not to go ahead with and cancelled within the allotted time.
It turns out somebody has cocked up and had the windows made up.
So we are getting new windows at a vastly reduced price!
