Colours
There was nice light on the multistorey car park when I went to the bank this morning.
There was a bit of running round with Bags needing to get to the court (jury duty) and back again (not needed today), bank, shopping, dog walking gymnastics (Squirrel - not me), school runs etc.
The sun didn't last all day unfortunately, but it was still remarkably mild and for it being mid February it is amazing (but due to change tomorrow)
Camera club appraisal this evening.
It was the judge's first outing.
He was fair and pretty consistent throughout the prints although he gave no quarter to the beginners and judged them on the same scale as the advanced group which was a bit harsh.
When it came to the projected images it was a different man.
Gone were the nerves, gone was the consistency and he judged them as 'Natural History' at international standard as opposed to general 'Nature'.
As soon as it finished, he was back to sounding very nervous.
I suspect he is a 'Natural History' photographer.
In the Advanced Print section I got the lowest mark for this one (a blue colour cast in the background .... (Bags' jumper while she held the cat) and the eyes are not sharp (apparently).
I also got the highest mark for this one.
As for the projected ones - I had lost the will to live as far as marking went, but again got a high and a low mark.
