Barometer in the Old Glasgow Savings Bank

I loved this old Barometer hanging on the wall of the former Glasgow Savings Bank at Parkhead Cross. I was in today as a new charity have taken it over as their HQ and it is great to see a lovely old building like this in use.
On the face it says Aneroid Barometer , I thought it said Anderoid as in new mobile phones. Perhaps it was an early incarnation of an app.
