A return trip to the Kelpies.

We decided at the beginning of this break, in fact before we even set off that we would like to try and get back to the Kelpies, after all we are over half way there.  A family outing was what we undertook today.  Hubs and I accompanied by his sister and brother in law went on a road trip. If was wonderful to see their faces when they saw them for themselves.  No matter how any times you are told about the sheer size of them, your mind cannot comprehend the magnitude until you see them for real.

A quick trip back to the Falkirk Wheel which is still undergoing maintenance and then the journey home via a plate of fish and chips. 

A truly wonderful day spend with great company.  It is a shame our niece wasn't up to the journey, but we have taken a few photographs and bought the guide books for her to enjoy when she is feeling better.
