Messing About on the River

It was a gloriously sunny and warm day today (14 c) and G and I went for a walk round Pensthorpe Natural Park before doing our shopping. The birds were out in force, including lots of Mandarin Ducks (see extra). The main photo shows one of a family of swans out on the river. The birds seemed to be really enjoying themselves in the sun (as were we) and were singing away (which we thankfully weren't).. It was a day to make your heart sing though.
