Otto, Django and the Red Shoes

We had dogs at knitting today, two little fireballs that galloped all over the place and had a high old time. Otto and Django are best friends, and very entertaining. 

Our group was small--the fierce weather kept some people at home, but here's the breakdown: M and K were knitting striped scarves, C was Knitting Like a Viking (nalbinding, an ancient technique that goes back to the Egyptians), C2 put the finishing touches on an orange and black Giants hat, MC started an intricate knitted bracelet, L and D worked on fingerless gloves, W experimented with stitches for a blanket using yarn she bought in Peru, and I continued with a new sweater for Mr S. What an amazing array of projects in one room! We had as much fun as the galloping dogs, or a barrel of monkeys!
