It is the very last day of our stay in Taiwan today. We decided to visit Yangmingshan National Park, Taipei 101 and Chang Kai Shek Memorial Hall.

First stop was Yangmingshan National Park. We were supposed to witness the Sakura trees bloom but it was still at the end of Winter season and so only a couple of trees were starting to bloom. All we saw were twigs LOL! We then headed to Chang Kai Shek Memorial Hall which was magnificent to look at. Afterwards, we had to stop by Taipei 101 just for the sake of going there since they bought fridge magnets and keychains with the famous building on it. You cant just buy a keychain/fridge magnet without visiting the place at least.

A very exhausting last day and it did not help that we got into a bit of a hassle when heading towards the airport MRT. We were walking for 1.5hrs to no avail. We couldnt find the MRT that would lead us to the airport. At one point we just went in circles and so we decided to take the taxi which cost us NT$1,145. We only had NT$1069 cash on hand that is why we had a hilarious time looking at the taxi meter every time it beeps to indicate fare increase. Upon arriving at the airport, i had to rush to the nearest cash machine and withdraw money to pay the driver. I also had to withdraw NT$1000 (way more than what we need) because the machine was out of 500 bills.

All in all, day was ok albeit physically draining :)
