Worcester and Birmingham Canal
We took advantage of a nice sunny spell in the early evening to take a walk along the towpath of the Worcester and Birmingham Canal near Barnt Green.
This is the summit level of the canal, where it is fed by the Upper and Lower Bittell Reservoirs. The section in this image actually runs along the dam of the lower reservoir. There are always some attractive boats to be seen at the private moorings here.
My blip on 14th August was of the Barnt Green Road Quarry, the source of the stone used in building the reservoir.
