Another bus day

Today I needed to get from Colombo to Udawalawe. I had information from an online travel forum about which bus station to go to and which bus number I needed. But I had no idea about the time. I took a tuk tuk (or auto as they’re known in India) to the bus station and started. It was a lot easier than I expected to find my bus.


The bus left at 10.30am and took 5 hours. It was hot but I sat by an open window so that helped. The photo is a phone shot of a view from the bus window. When I arrived, I took another tuk tuk to the hotel. My sister A and her partner B arrived a couple of hours later.
