Elephants!

We left the hotel at 5.30am to go into Udawalawe national park. It was a brilliant day and we saw so many amazing animals and birds. I love elephants and there were lots in the park. We sat watching several groups for a long time. My blip had to be an elephant. This one has tiny pieces of blossom on her head. We also saw crocodiles, monkeys, buffalo, deer, mongoose, monitor lizards, and a huge variety of birds.


The extras have more elephants, two different types of Bee Eater and a Grizzled Giant Squirrel (identified this evening by internet).
