Not Quite So Derelict

I blipped this house last year for Derelict Sunday and last week I noticed that there was some change in the front garden. This week the council have been there ripping the place apart, removing the fencing and starting to repair the building.

Today I spoke to one of the neighbours who is delighted that progress is being made. New tenants are due in March, so there is plenty to do. The whole of the inside is being gutted with new doors and windows to come. The trees have grown under and into the building and destroyed some of the floorboards!

Apparently, the previous tenant was not averse to growing cannabis and many a time I have seen police vehicles parked outside. Some stolen property was also recovered from the caravan area.
