What A Difference a Year Makes!

In my Valentine blip of 2016, I announced my intention to ask G to marry me, it being a Leap Year and all.  I did ask him, and he didn't say 'No', but he was none too enthusiastic about the prospect, and to be honest I was a bit hurt. 

However, a couple of months later he totally surprised me by proposing in the most romantic location, complete with a beautiful diamond ring and with all my family on hand to celebrate, and we were married 12 weeks later! 

So - this year it was not so much S.W.A.L.K (sealed with a loving kiss) as I.G.Y.A.L (I got you at last)!
