Afternoon Light

Our human visitors left after lunch for a couple of nights glamping in a yurt up a valley deep in the border hills. I think they will be making good use of the wood-burning stove. At least the rain had stopped by the time they left.

They have left the dog with us - not allowed on the site. Very wise, with pregnant ewes around.

So we were out for a walk in the forest this afternoon, and very peaceful it was after the hurly-burly of the last few days.  

The country round here is a maze of little roads, and we came home by one we'd not found before - quite high in the hills, and with long, long views. The sunlight and clouds were chasing across the sky - fascinating to see.
