First One Of the year

Heading to the pond from the undergrowth in the woods (where I assume it had over wintered).
A few minutes later - there was another one ...... quite different from the first one.

The one and only crocus was soaking up the sun under the birches (which were fair moving in the wind).
But at least the clouds had disappeared for a while. One soaking in a day is quite enough.

This evening SWMBO and I headed off to Peebles for a preview of the new Honda Civic.
I don't think I will will be rushing to order one. Nice as it is, it isn't ticking all the boxes for my needs at the moment.
