Time For A Rant

But not quite yet........

Lying on the floor - with a handful of drugs for the back I was joined by Jay who had come down from his spot in the sun and proceeded to watch me and preen......... and of course look aloof.

I spent quite a while on the floor trying to ease the back before heading off to Perth for a concert.

It seemed to work to a certain extent.

Now for the rant ................

We stopped at the local shop and came across these tw*ts (see extra).
The only disability there was in the dead brain and ignorance.
Then - for a mile and a half we were lucky to reach 15mph on the approach to The Queensferry Crossing and 40mph over it.
Not even rush hour!
When you have 3 lanes + slip roads merging into 2 lanes it can never be anything other than a nightmare and chaos.
And yet the SNP continue to claim that this bridge is the answer to all Scotland's traffic problems in Central Scotland with increased traffic flow between The Lothians and Fife.
HOW?
What planet are they on? Who thought only 2 lanes was an improvement on .... 2 lanes?
How is it fully integrated into the motorway system when the motorway status doesn't actually exist on the South side of the bridge (with the speed limit being 40mph because the corner is too tight to get motorway status)?
The traffic conjestin is worse now than it ever was with the old bridge.
 
Rant over ................

We got into Perth and went for a really nice (well priced) meal, attended by very good and attentive staff in Kisa's right next to the Concert Hall.
Well worth a visit!

The concert was the Post Modern Jukebox.
I left my camera safely locked away in the car - and the first thing the compare did was invite people to take pictures and videos and post them on social media (using #pmj tour) ......... flaming typical!
The venue had tables at the front with plenty space left for dancing ..... which they insisted people did.
The vocalists were superb and the entertainment value throughout was worth every penny. The musicians and tap dancer were also top notch.
