As you can imagine, I had fun editing this image. It's my entry for Tiny Tuesday.

Tomorrow is the 6th anniversary of the Christchurch 22nd February 2011 earthquake, which killed 185 people, and did immeasurable and untold damage to people's lives and property. Some people in the city sustained very little damage; the lucky ones. Others have struggled to manage, and about 5,000 homes are yet to be assessed and repaired. Apparently some folk are so dragged down by it all that they are no longer able to make decisions with their Insurance companies. My story was bad enough, but there are many far far worse.

I idly pondered, at the beginning of January, the possibility of my house repairs being finished on 22 February. It's just possible that that could happen! If not, it will be this week. I'm stoked. I'll still have some painting and other jobs to do myself, that didn't quite make a successful appearance on the Defects List, but  that's okay. I'm so wanting to move on! Enough is enough.
