Farewell Cyclone Gita

Massive seas in Stony Bay this morning. You’ll have to zoom in hard to see the wave action on the far side. The lines of breakers dumping in were relentless.
The eye of the storm was nearby at 1am, and was downright scary. We were being evacuated when I captured this pano as it was deemed too risky for us to walk out over the hills, due to high winds. It was pouring with rain too so I didn’t mind!
Our previous two days were great. I’ll have to backblip soon.

Update: I've now backblipped the last two days, if you've the time to look back. We've had quite an adventure. So lucky!
