Textured Water...

Yet another hot hot hot .... and sweaty day. But great for getting the washing dry. It was still very warm when I took Maisie for a late evening walk. We went to the Taylor Dam. The water weed has grown amazingly this summer. It is so dense in places that some pukeko, pied stilts and ducks are walking on the surface of the lake on the thick mat of weeds. Maisie had to stay on her lead as she would have dashed into the lake... a dangerous place for dogs and humans.
