St Joseph and the Surfer

Total credit to Mr S for spotting this juxtaposition! We've walked by these statues hundreds of times, but never before from this angle. It looks like St Joseph has a giant reading lamp. I was busy looking at the huge tree that had uprooted and fallen through the back porch of the adjacent rectory. It was especially interesting because I'd sat there on the grass awhile back and made a drawing of the building and the garden.
