Female Common Blue (Polyommatus icarus)

Visited the Staffordshire Wildlife Trust HQ at Wolseley Bridge this morning after seeing a fellow 'togs great image of a Banded Demoiselle.

While I wasn't fortunate enough to capture an image of the damselfly, this little lady obliged me by sitting still while I faffed around with the camera.

Looks like I'm developing a theme.
