Jenkin's Crag!

Our last day spent in the Lake District was a dry one - who'd have thought it after the monsoon rains of yesterday and last night!! 

We set out early to get the first boat from Bowness to Brockhole, where we got off to walk from to Jenkin's Crag and down into Ambleside. We were treated to absolutely glorious views throughout the walk and, again, from Jenkin's Crag itself. 

It was lovely to spend some time looking around the little shops of Ambleside too before getting the little boat back into Bowness. What a fantastic day...and trip away on the whole! :-) It is amazing how much you can do in the Lakes in just three days...but also, we have definitely only scratched the surface of this beautiful national park! We will be back! :-D
