Cold collie .....

Storm Doris didn't turn out to be as wild here as forecast. Last night they were shouting about a foot of snow in the Southern Uplands and blowing a hoolie.
By 8am the rain had turned to snow and it slittered on till after lunch but I think we got off lightly.
Went to a Beef Group meeting in Peebleshire at my cousin's farm. His cattle were looking well despite the weather and at one point he mentioned he had a source of cheap barley last year . Will need to charge him a bit more if he buys any more this harvest time !
Patch was looking pretty fed up with the weather this morning , much like myself.
