A walk from the brig along the road to Mill of Ireland, down the track to the sands and along the shore back to the brig. Saw about eight hares but all too far and fast for photos. Five were on the shore- it always seems odd seeing them run through the seaweed covered rocks and sands. About 19 dunlin with a few ringed plovers and sanderling, a few shelduck etc. It was bright but with a snell wind from the south-west.
