Marvellous Midwives

Felt a bit better still again today, especially with the aid of a hot water bottle to soothe sore muscles from all the coughing. 
Asha enjoyed a day at home, especially when THE parcel from England arrived, complete with baby things and a few surprises for her! And then we saw these 2 marvellous midwives later on - Luci & Cyd! They even brought the birth pool with them!!! Danny got taught some massage techniques and various pressure points to help manage pain. Asha loved helping Luci measure the baby, and feel where his head was...I loved that Luci involved her so much.
Exciting times!

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Continuing to feel better.
2) All the effort Mom & Dad have gone to to get the parcel sorted - there were all sorts of little unexpected things in there too (including 3 bottles of Dettol!! Hooray!!).
3) Cyd & Luci & their natural approach to birth...love how freeing they are!
