Meet Napoleon

I could never find the explanation why this custard cake is called - Napoleon in Russia. But everyone of my generation and around would probably call this name if asked about the most desired treat when a child. I had that treat very unexpectedly many-many years since I stopped even remembering about it, although it can be bought in a supermarket or in a tearoom these days. But the one which is cooked and cooked for occasion and especially if there was no occasion like yesterday - wow, that's a real treat!!!
