Jamie Juggling
What's so unusual about that? Well look a bit closer and you'll see that Jamie doesn't have any hands. He doesn't have feet either. His hands and lower legs were amputated following a tragic accident in the French Alps in 1999, when he suffered severe frostbite and hypothermia.
I've heard Jamie speak many times about the mountaineering tragedy, rescue, surgery and recovery. A story of sheer determination not to let his disabilities stop him from fulfilling his dreams. He carried the Olympic Torch in Edinburgh in June, and last weekend he scaled up and then abseiled off the Olympic stadium. One of his next challenges is to climb the Matterhorn.
I was moved more than ever today, and his juggling is definitely improving.
