Train To Print

I'm away with The Mate on a PermaJet Train To Print weekend in Oxfordshire. The pun is in the title: Saturday was spent at the Didcot Railway Centre with Timeline Events. Tomorrow we will be spending a day learning about image printing.

Re-enactors had been brought in to create the feeling of the age of steam in the early fifties. Pre-Beeching! They really threw themselves into their roles, even in their conversation with one-another.  I may have put the cat among the pigeons by asking them if they would like copies of our images. They were thrilled as I was the first photographer to have offered to do this! Email addresses taken.

So, an absolutely wonderful day! How good is this? I actually got to climb up and stand on the footplate of the engine that was used in the Queen video of Breakthru!

In the evening we and the organisers had a good meal together back at the hotel.
