Spring

It is the first day of Spring here. I didn't see a cloud in the sky all day. More of the same from last month. It didn't rain at all in August.

I slept in this morning, still suffering from the manflu. I forced myself out of bed at around 9am, had a shower and told myself to pull myself together. I worked. I did a whole lot of tooling around today and managed to get all sorts of things done. The manflu is on the retreat this evening.

One of the things I did today was bent a right angle in this piece of steel rod. Firing up the forge seemed a bit overkill so I got out the aptly named Bernzamatic blowtorch. Ten minutes later and job done.
