Second oil painting

A fun afternoon having another go at painting with oils.  l am rather enjoying it..there is so much to learn and this is just a start!!

The roofers are working really fast on the roof and it is getting exciting... l am looking forward to feeling the difference in the amount of insulation we are putting in.  What came out was about 1 inch thick glass fibre insulation and what we are replacing it with is 4 inches thick plus an insulating felt which itself is the equivalent of about a foot of insulation (apparently) so it should be fantastic.  We found that there was no felt at all on one side of the roof.. no wonder we have had problems.
