Museum of FIne Art

Trip today to Richmond to look at Virginia Commonwealth University and the Museum of Fine Art.

The School was very interesting - we had not looked at one in an urban setting and we were surprised and pleased with what we saw.

We had lunch at the museum and wandered thru some exhibits.  They have a nice collection of Faberge and there is a special exhibit of jewelry.
Museum Website  we enjoyed ourselves - but driving back and forth and walking around makes for a very tired mom and girl.

So I loved this photo of this jellyfish pin because the other jeweled box is reflected in the case - but then my hands are also - not quite sure what to do with that - but I still love this photo the best.  

My extras - I like the Faberge egg but wish I could figure out how to lose the glare.  I loved these mermaid candlesticks - but they are hard to see because they are black and the room was black.  And I loved how they had placed the jewelry on these stones - I thought it was a great way to show them.
