Shrove Tuesday...

...means Pancake Day around here.
The Annual Pancake Races took place along The Grove in Ilkley this morning.
Oldest Granddaughter had been chosen to represent her school in her age range race.
Not only is she a ballet dancer ( just heard last night that she has passed her Grade 5 Ballet exam and gained a distinction) she's a good runner too.
Her greatest assest is her grit and determination, she never gives up : Ruby won her race!
