A reminder

After a lot of my day talking about and listening to the real and very present fears about the impact of Brexit on our communities , businesses and individual citizens I was making my way back to the flat tonight when I was brought up short by this very visual reminder of the ubiquity of the EU In our daily lives.

This placard has just been erected on a refurbishment project in Greenside Place. The building has been empty for a long time and it is a Scottish / EU funding stream that is trying to breathe new life into it.

What will happen in future to important initiatives like this if the hard Brexiteers get their way ?
