Preston Guild

Preston Guild takes place every 20 years. The celebrations continue for two weeks and today 105 floats processed through the town most accompanied by walkers in costume. Local businesses funded and arranged the floats for this the Trades Procession. There will also be a Community Procession and events in town for the next weeks. I liked this one and was also impressed by the stilt walkers who must have struggled over the long route round the town (apart from the group l walked with of course!)
