Brum
Had a slow get up and then had a huge hotel breakfast. Not my usual fare but they did no a veggie sausage so I had to try the cooked breakfast.
We walked waddled into Warwick and had a look around. There were some lovely independent shops and a little market but not quite what we had in mind for a girly weekend.
We jumped on a train and headed for Birmingham - only 25 minutes away. We spent the rest of the day mooching around the shops, drinking coffee and generally catching up on what's been going on with our families and jobs. My sister usually acts as my personal shopper and gets me to try on things that I wouldn't usually look at. I think we did well.
After 17,000 steps, we gave in and headed for something to eat. More talking and nice food before we headed back to the station for the journey back to the hotel.
After a glass of wine and a piece of flapjack for pudding, we were both ready for bed.
