Ready to launch
I was in Glasgow this morning for a meeting of the whole system approach working group. This tends to concentrate on prevention and diversion of older young people who offend but there is a clear overlap with the children's hearings system.
Sat beside Alison Gough who was presenting her work on the secure estate: good to catch up.
On my way to the meeting I passed the City of Glasgow college site on the south of the river. They have what looks like a marine safety unit with various vessels primed to be used.
Then a quick run back to the train for meetings most of the afternoon on participation of young people, reappointments and briefing papers.
To finish the day was first a visit to my blind 91 year old aunt who had fallen yesterday at home: A&E had sorted her out with 18 staples to a gash on her arm but she needed some things done this evening. Then the final clearance of the attic at the back of the house. Now to clear the other rooms there.!
