Fulham tower blocks

Moved Z to her new place today. Really not sure about it but she seems happy and the flatmates we met were friendly in a nice straightforward way. Let's hope first impressions are borne out.

These looming pebbledashed edifices in Fulham are juxtaposed incongruously with streets of pretty Victorian terraces. I still find it bizarre how anyone considered that they would uplift anyone's life. But maybe that wasn't the point. And talking of points why are tower blocks given that epithet, viz. Ronan Point, Aintree Point. What is the Point?!
