Exemplar bed prep

It might not be everyone's cup of tea but seeing this bed in the Bowes Lyon rose garden at Wisley made my heart sing. Roses beautifully pruned, perennials cut back, a deep soft bed of the most delicious mulch spread all about. Truly a thing of beauty - to me anyway!
