Looking At History

This welcoming sculpted head is to be seen over the main entrance of Charlottenburg Town Hall , a much built, enlarged & rebuilt building .(if interested please see link ) It  houses a very good canteen known as the Wintergarten where all can eat a meal Monday to Friday for a nominal price.  This is not the Ratskeller  but the actual Town Hall Canteen and yes , all can go and eat there. A policy all over Germany .The menu is varied and very tasty . Smaller than Manchester Town Hall it does share some features .
