No Shortage Of Ice

Today after collecting my vegetables I went to see Dorothy.
The Wannsee at Alt Kladow was very frozen so it was impossible to spot her. Crows were every where even way out on the ice .They join in with their web footed neighbours  Quite a few flew to the pier ( you can guess what for ) see extra and there you'll see the BVG ferry coming in and doubling up as an ice-breaker.Punctual as well.It takes 300 passengers .Today we were fewer in number .The round trip was wonderful .So many birds , such a sky plus sun and all the time glistening sparkling ice . Some crows fly with the ferry.A great way to keep fit ..On the return from Wannsee to Kladow a Police boat also came doubling as an ice breaker .
In 30 years have never once seen the buses etc stopped due to weather ..Doubt I ever will .Schools and shops stay open as well .Mainly because the BVG will ensure all get there should they not want to use their car .
