Standing Room Only!

The girls got their freedom today! They came out and quickly pecked the first grass they saw - must have tasted heavenly! They did not rush about as I expected, but did do what I guess is natural for anyone kept in confinement for a long time .....they went for a bath! Being chickens it was a dust bath!They lay in it, ruffled their feathers in it, just sat in it! For the latecomers it was standing room only! As I cleaned the coop I could hear them happily giving cooing, chirping noises in their great happiness!
