Pear-eating dragon

Another mostly gardening day.  I'm finally winning against the pond - turns out that working out levels on sloping ground is tricky.  The almond tree from yesterday was planted with CarbBoy's help, and in a fit of gardening enthusiasm he started digging a hole for a yet-to-be-purchased cherry tree.

Later, I did not summon up the strength of will for a battle with Orange, but did find time for some despair about Brexit.  (In fact, that may explain the lack of strength...)

But on the plus side is a string of good school results from both the kids, and some sunshine.
