A bureau of clerks?

I'm not quite sure what you call a gathering of clerks from local authorities. A portmanteau? A folder? A clique - for the alliteration?

Whatever they are called this friendly group met at the office today. It was one day of our regular meetings with then to discuss developments and policies.

These are the people who provide administrative support for the Area Support Teams - see Monday's blip. They arrange meetings, process documentation, liaise with local authority services and overall help the wheels of the organisation function at local level but in line with our aims.

It is a further example of the liaison we have with local authorities and how they play their part in supporting the children's hearings system.
