Roof-Top Views

What is going on in the photo?
Last week my dad took my brother and I to my uncle’s house in Washington, D.C. This photo was taken February 18 at 11:45 a.m. I took the photo on his rooftop.

How is it related to a specific human geography concept from the current unit or previous unit?

This picture of Washington D.C. ties into site. From my view I could see the capital and other beautiful buildings surround the Capital. In addition, the Potomac River is located near my uncle’s home.

Link the image to one of the five themes of geography with an explanation of how it relates.

Place: A physical characteristics about this place is that it is located near the Potomac River. The climate there was high seventy degrees Fahrenheit. From the top of the roof I could see the river different boats along the side. Near the home there were plenty of food and shopping centers in the neighborhood. Most of these areas were highly populated.
