King Cnut

King Canute - I think that's how its spelt properly. That is who I have been pretending to be today. I have been painting over the damp on some of the inside walls with a special retarding paint. And then papering over that. So that the damp wont come back through. Ever again. Except I know it will - but haven't got the heart to tell my loyal subjects.

So I have only had time to snap the mums and children heading home from school. The bell bollard I was talking about yesterday is just a few further steps to the right. 

Better dash off and have another look at the walls. Is there anything bubbling up under the new lining paper yet? Ooh Errr.
